Swelling Solution
This potion causes something to get bigger. The antidote was a Deflating Draught.
4 cups water
17 & 1/4 puffer-fish eyes
4 tablespoons ground belladonna
2 tablespoons horned slugs, chopped up
1/2 teaspoon of ginger, for taste
Please note: You must wear dragon hide gloves when making this potion. Handle with care! Please make sure all your ingriedents are measured and chopped up before starting this potion.
Pour 3 cups water into your cauldron and light a fire under the cauldron. Let the water boil to a rolling boil which means lots of bubbles. Once you have a good boil going, drop in 14 puffer-fish eyes and stir 16 times counterclockwise. Put the other 3 and a 1/4 puffer-fish eyes in and stir 4 times clockwise. You will notice that the potion is a muddy brown with hints of blue. Let boil for 42 seconds. Sprinkle in the 4 tablespoons of ground belladonna and stir once clockwise. At this point the potion should become a deep blue. If you smell peaches then you know the potion is successful. Anything else means you have missed a step and the potion has the ability to become poisonous. Drop 2 tablespoons of chopped horned slugs and stir 2 times clockwise, 2 times counterclockwise. Lower the heat on your potion and allow to simmer for 4 minutes. Pour in the last cup of water and stir four times clockwise. Add 1/2 teaspoon of of ginger and stir twice clockwise and allow the potion for 8 minutes. At this point the potion should be a sky blue. Allow the potion to cool before putting it in a vial.
