Intermediate Potions

Hair Raising Potion

2 & 1/2 cups water
14 and 3/4 rat tails, sliced horizontally
2 tablespoons of chopped Chinese Chomping Cabbage
4 teaspoons of ground Graphorn
1 cup dried nettles

Pour 2 & 1/2 cups water into your cauldron and then light a fire under the cauldron.  Allow for the water to come to a full boil.  After it has reached the boiling point, add in 12 rat tails and stir 13 times clockwise.  Allow to boil for 3.3 seconds and then add the rest of the rat tails (2 & 3/4).  Once you've added the rest, stir 6 times counterclockwise.  You should notice that your potion is a muddy brown color.  Let your potion boil for 6 minutes and 9 seconds adding the 2 tablespoons of chopped Chinese Chomping Cabbage.  Stir 4 times counter clockwise.  Reduce heat and allow your potion to simmer for 5 minutes.  After 5 minutes your potion should start changing to a dark purple.  Once it is a dark purple, add in 4 teaspoons of ground Graphorn and stir twice clockwise.  Allow the potion to simmer for 3 minutes before adding the dried nettles.  Stir 18 times clockwise and remove from heat.  Let your potion cool completely.  Once it has cooled, it should be a bright turquoise.  Once cooled, place in a vial.
